Área: Ciências Otorrinolaringológica e Base de Crânio

Avaliação dos mecanismos fisiológicos e patológicos das afecções que comprometem as vias aéreas digestivas superiores bem como a reabilitação das sequelas decorrentes das lesões, utilizando novas tecnologias de bioengenharia e marcadores inflamatórios. Investigar os mecanismos morfofisiopatológicos dos distúrbios sensoriais e neuroais que comprometem os nervos cranianos responsáveis pela audição e equilibrio corporal. Elaborar instrumentos específicos, bem como modelos experimentais para reabilitação.

Avaliação dos mecanismos fisiológicos e patológicos das afecções que comprometem a região da base do crânio transição esta envolvendo as diferentes disciplinas da Otorrinolaringologia, Neurologia Clínica e Cirúrgica.
